Job Description
MUSC Health - Black River Medical Center is seeking a PRN skilled Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners to join their team of Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Providers. Candidates will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services for patients in Cades, SC and the surrounding communities.
MUSC Health Black River Medical Center opened in January 2023. The 64,000 sq. ft. rural hospital provides patients with a full range of modern diagnostic and interventional capabilities. Some of the services offered include 3-D mammography, MRI, nuclear medicine, CT scanning, on-site pharmacy, and a complete imaging department. The new facility features 25 inpatient beds, four observation beds, two operating rooms, and 16 emergency treatment rooms. The new hospital serves Williamsburg and lower Florence counties.
Our Goal
The new hospital's diagnostic technology and programs are geared to meet the needs of the communities we serve, so residents won't have to travel elsewhere for quality care.
The MUSC Medical Center supports a patient-and family-centered approach to care. Family members are not considered visitors to a loved one who is hospitalized. They are key participants in support, decision-making, and care. We do not have visiting hour restrictions and two people are always welcome at the bedside 24 hours a day.
